Terms of Service

1. Contractual Relationship

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the access or use by you ("User") of the IBStress application, website, and content (the "Services"). By accessing IBStress.com, you confirm your agreement to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

2. Scope of Service & "Experimental" Status

IBStress is an AI-driven educational tool designed to facilitate document analysis and peer-mentoring.

• Beta Status: User acknowledges that the Application is currently in an experimental "Beta" phase. Services are provided "as-is" and "as-available."
• No Database Guarantee: IBStress operates on a data-minimization model. We do not guarantee the persistence of any chat history or session data beyond the active browser window.

3. Academic Integrity & "Non-Substitution" Policy

IBStress is built to support the International Baccalaureate (IB) community, but it is not an official IB tool.

• Academic Honesty: Users are strictly prohibited from using IBStress to engage in plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration, or any activity that violates their school’s Academic Integrity Policy or the IB General Regulations.
• Not an Official Grader: Any "grades" or "marks" predicted by the AI are purely stimulatory. Users must rely on official teacher feedback and IB rubrics for final academic decisions.
• No Professional Advice: The Application does not provide legal, medical, or mental health advice. It is a peer-mentoring simulation.

4. Google Drive Integration & OAuth Usage

By using the Google Drive integration, you grant IBStress a Read-Only temporary token to access authorized files.

• Scope: The Application only accesses files the User explicitly selects.
• Limited Use: We adhere strictly to the Google API Services User Data Policy. Your Drive data is processed in real-time and is never transferred to third-party developers or used for training non-proprietary models.
• User Responsibility: You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary permissions for any documents you "feed" to the AI.

5. Intellectual Property

• Platform Ownership: The AI agent logic, the automated workflow architecture, and the IBStress branding are the exclusive property of the developer (Hamzeh).
• User Content: Users retain all ownership rights to the documents they upload. By using the "Feedback" or "Good Response/Bad Response" feature, you grant IBStress a non-exclusive, royalty-free, anonymized license to use the interaction text to improve the AI's performance.

6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

• No Liability for Results: To the maximum extent permitted by the law of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the creator of IBStress shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to academic disqualification, loss of marks, or emotional distress.
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IBStress and its creator from any claims, losses, or disciplinary actions arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the AI.

7. Termination of Use

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, including but not limited to:

• Attempting to reverse-engineer the automated workflows.
• Using the tool to generate toxic or prohibited content.
• Flooding the API endpoints (DoS attacks).

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bahrain.
